12th June 2010 - Carving Day Take 2

A more adventurous posse of Chain Saw wielding Tablers and guests ransacked the Earnshaws wood pile for yet more carvery (not a Yorkshire Pud in sight).  See the latest picks and come see our creations at Horbury Street Fair on 19th-20th June!

24th May 2010 - Area 9 GoKarting Event

Three members of our Table attend the Area Karting event hosted by Batley Round Table.  Much bumping, scraping and sideswiping (non contact sport hmm).  Great night - good fun and points to us!

23rd May 2010 - Hall Green Under 9's

We proudly presented Hall Green Under 9's Football Team a new football kit sponsored by ourselves.  A good group of kids with a great coaching team.  We hope they get plenty of use out of the kit.

12th March 2010 - Mercedes Take 3

So impressed with the last event and the Wild West Theme - this event was repeated again in March.  Yep - you guessed it, along with our friends at Bar Hire Solutions we tended bar once again dressed in our best cow-boy/cow-girl attire.  The gals from Circle also tagged along.  Another great night and great donation!

11th March 2010 - I Predict A Riot

We joined members of other Round Tables in our Area to throw missiles, antagonise, abuse and generally annoy members of the West Yorkshire Police Riot Squad.  A great day doing something you never (legally) get to do. We all raised over £1000 for the Anthony Nolan Trust!

15th January 2010 - Mercedes Take 2

Once again our Friends at Mercedes asked us to man the bar at their 2010 corporate event.  The theme this time was Wild West complete with rodeo bull!  Again, our hard work was rewarding with a great donation - and made some new friends at Bar Hire Solutions!

Chairmans Message

"My name is Karl Hardwick and I am the current Chairman of Sitlington & District Round Table. I have been involved since September 2007 and I have not looked back since. What with the BieirFest, Charity Disco's, Christmas Float along with all the other events that are organised I don't know what I did with my time beforehand!!

When I was first asked to join I thought, like many people, that this was a secret society with funny handshakes made up of local businessmen, HOW WRONG I WAS!!

We are a group of guys ages between 18 - 45 who raise money for charity along with organising and attending events whilst having a great social life. These events include our Annual BierFest, Go Karting, Police Riot training, Fishing Trips , to name but a few. You can do as much or as little as you would like although the more you put in the more you get out really does apply! We welcome anyone from the above age group who would like to come along and see what we do.

If you would like more information on Round Table, please feel free to contact us."

Thanks

Karl Hardwick
Sitlington & District Round Table Chairman
